Kassandra is one of the first of three peninsulas in Halkidiki. Known for being the busiest and popular with tourists, the peninsula of Kassandra is the least mountainous. It’s very lively with many long sandy beaches, bars and restaurants throughout the towns. If you’re looking for a nice mix of beach and town life during your holiday, then Kassandra is one to consider staying on.
Sithonia, the second peninsula, which is considered more picturesque.
